Introducing Kianite Finance
We’ve been around quite some months now and we would like to make an introduction to who we are and what we are doing to change the DeFi ecosystem.
What is Kianite?
Kianite is a community governed DeFi protocol ecosystem. We are building a suite for DeFi products for our community ranging from investment to liquidity products. Also, our community has the power to govern and decide the direction of these DeFi products.
What is DeFi?
Many of you may don’t know what exactly DeFi is. We can explain it. In its most simple form, decentralized finance is a concept where financial products are available on a public decentralized blockchain network making them open to anyone to use rather than going through a middleman like banks or brokerages. Specifically, DeFi refers to a system where software written on blockchains makes it possible for buyers & sellers and lenders & borrowers to interact peer to peer or with a strictly software-based middleman rather than a company or institution facilitating a transaction. Decentralized finance is still at the beginning stage of its evolution. The total value locked in DeFi contracts is over $41 billion, as of March 2021.

In our DeFi protocol product suit someone can find:
- Batch: Tokenized index protocol
Batch allows the creation of tokens that track the price of baskets of crypto assets in order to create a diversified investment vehicle. - Fluid: Liquidity provisioning protocol
Fluid gives users the ability to exchange ERC-20 tokens using a decentralized platform allowing for fast and efficient trading. - Rates: Interest generating protocol
Rates allow users to generate a return on their assets by adding it to a lending protocol and collecting interest payments.
